Arrival
Arriving at Villa Amiel
When you arrive at Villa Amiel, you pass through the garden under the shade of ancient chestnut trees and up into the veranda. From there you can sit and look over the town park watching the Sospellois enjoying a game of pêtangue or see the stalls on display at the Thursday market.
The veranda is used for breakfast, or if you prefer, you can have petit-déjeuner in the Salon des Anglais.
The town park ‘Places des Platanes’ is just opposite the Villa. It is the place in Sospel where most things happen. In fact almost every event – from rallies and concerts to markets – take place just opposite Villa Amiel. So you have the ideal place from which to watch, or join in!

Hi Mark
A belated many thanks for looking after us when we stayed with OnFoot at the end of August. We loved the hotel and the town of Sospel.
And particularly a big thank you for driving us up the valley so the rest of our walk to St Agnes was less of a mission than it otherwise would have been. It was a great day’s walking and we found a great spot to eat most of your monster pack lunch!
Best wishes, Peter and Mary Cover.

Dear Patrick and Mark.
Saturday October 3rd, 2009, 08:15 AMThank you very much for a wonderfull stay in Sospel, as usual.
We had an interesting tour further on from you, a new route to Aups as well as a new route from Aups to Lørrach.
I am writing on two articles, the theme in one of them being « why return to the same places year after year ».
Yes, I wonder why!
All the best
Lillian and Knud.
